The House Of Representatives passing the controversial Equality Act wasn’t the only matter of concern for lesbian and gay Americans.

On February 25, a confirmation hearing was held for Dr. Rachel (nee: Richard) Levine, President Joe Biden’s pick to serve as assistant health secretary.

Good news, for trans rights advocates: If “she” is confirmed, Levine would become the highest-ranking openly transgender official in government history.

Bad news for everyone else: If Levine is confirmed, “she” would become the most dangerous member of the Biden administration.

Levine believes that all children should be allowed to select their gender and have access to government-funded sex reassignment surgery without parental notification or authorization.

During questioning, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) — not exactly an ally of the LGB community -twice asked Levine if minors should receive “puberty blockers or surgical amputation of breasts or genitalia.”

“Senator, transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field, and if confirmed to the position of assistant secretary of health, I will certainly be pleased to come to your office and talk with you and your staff about the standards of care and the complexity of this field.”

To no one’s surprise, Left-leaning corporate media outlets called Senator Paul’s remarks “transphobic” and erroneous, while ignoring Levine’s response’s which was evasive and borderline perjurous.

Fortunately, I speak trans jive so I’ll translate:

ngblog urges a NO vote on the nomination of Rachel Levine for Assistant Secretary in the Department of Health and Human Services.
